The proof is in the pudding: Yummy Chocolate infused Hot Cross Bun & Butter Pudding

Last night we had supper at Richard’s parents, I kindly offered to take along a pudding of some kind. I took advantage of the cold weather and decided to make a variation of Bread and Butter Pudding.  (While in Tesco's recently, I noticed that Hot Cross Buns are available all year round over here, not only at Easter, which gives me immense pleasure!)

I took a quick photo when it came out the oven - the most amazing and totally irresistible spicy, sweet, chocolaty aroma filled my nostrils... ...

Going underground...

Posted by Janice Bruce-Brand on Friday, October 22, 2010, In : SUPPER CLUBS
At last I have a new laptop and I am able to resume my blogging! It has been two weeks since I last wrote and my fingers have been itching to tell you all about our Underground Supper Club experience.

I came across an article on London's Underground Supper Clubs and thought this would be a great encounter to write about.  If you are not familiar with the whole concept of SC's, then let me enlighten you! Just Married & Living the good life in London

Janice Bruce-Brand Hi, I'm Janice. I am not a chef, and I am not a photographer - but I love cooking, eating and taking photographs. My mother is a great cook and this is probably where my love for food began. A few years ago, she opened up her own little restaurant in the quaint farming hamlet where I spent roughly 20 years of my youth! By creating this blog, I hope to share with you my curiosity for just about everything in life that relates to food. Those who know me are aware of just how much I love to document my trips and travels. I hope you'll join me for the ride... I promise to keep you suitably entertained (and perhaps even drooling at times!)
